Buyer tools privacy
Updated 2 October 2026. This notice applies specifically to the Machine Fitment Guide, Attachment Job Planner and Buy-or-Hire Calculator on tools.attachmentwarehouse.eu and their three MCP connections.
Who operates the tools
Attachment Warehouse Europe operates these tools. For privacy requests and support, use our contact page. Our main privacy policy describes the operator, your privacy rights and how to exercise them. The processing described below is specific to this separate tool service; the main store's form-saving and analytics features are not installed here.
What the tools process
When you submit a request, we process the machine specifications, job details, language and cost assumptions you supply to calculate a result. No account, payment details or contact information are required. Do not include personal or confidential information in machine or job descriptions. These tools do not send enquiries, place orders or add you to marketing lists.
Inputs and results are processed in service memory for the request and are not saved as customer records or conversations. Public catalogue data are fetched using the selected language; your machine description and cost inputs are not sent to the catalogue endpoint. A short cache stores public catalogue responses, not your inputs.
Hosting and operational data
The service runs on our existing Hetzner infrastructure in the European Economic Area. Cloudflare supplies DNS for these tool addresses, without proxying their HTTP requests. Connections are encrypted with HTTPS. Product photos load from AWE's existing image host, which receives the network request needed to display the image.
Routine web access logs and application input/output logs are disabled. The service maintains anonymous, in-memory service outcome counts for reliability checks. Anti-abuse controls use IP addresses temporarily in memory. Application throttle records expire within approximately 70 seconds; nginx throttle records are bounded and expire or are evicted according to its rate-limit state, or disappear on restart. Neither throttle store is a customer database.
Rare critical infrastructure errors may record an IP address or requested URL. The dedicated critical-error log uses daily rotation, with up to 14 archived daily log files retained. Request bodies, machine details and cost results are not deliberately written to that log. Technical network processing is needed to deliver requests and protect the service from abuse.
Cookies, analytics and AI hosts
These standalone tools set no analytics or advertising cookies and add no visitor analytics. Inputs remain in the current page while you use it; the tools do not save them to browser storage. If you use a tool through ChatGPT or another AI host, that provider processes your conversation, the tool request and the returned result under its own privacy terms and account controls. Our service does not control the provider's conversation history or retention.
Product links and your choices
Opening a product link takes you to the separate AWE storefront, where its own privacy policy and cookie controls apply. Contact us to ask about processing or exercise the rights described in our main privacy policy. We do not have a saved tool conversation to retrieve or delete; your AI provider may retain its own history.
